More than 40 young researchers took part in the 1st Training School of the Action CM1202, 9-11 March 2014 in Jena, Germany.

Aside from scientific opening lectures (given by Ulrich S. Schubert, Friedrich-Schiller-University and Ken Sakai, Kyushu University, Japan, see picture) and excellent tutorials (given by Action members Chantal Daniel, Han Vos, Villy Sundström and James Durrant) all the young researchers were asked to present their work in short presentations. This presentation was followed by a discussion mediated by the tutors of the summerschool. Additionally the young researchers were asked to bring a complementary poster, which were put up on Monday and stayed on for scientific discussion throughout the summerschool and the symposium, which followed. The training school was perceived very well and fruitful, once again thanks to all participants for contributing to this great event!
